Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Geriatric Fellowship

CentraState’s Geriatric Fellowship is a one-year program where faculty and fellows enjoy the benefits of a community hospital setting and the advantages of a university affiliation. This collaboration is paramount to our goal of becoming New Jersey’s Geriatric Center of Excellence.

We are proud to be a member of the CentraState Healthcare System, which is among the nation’s most wired IT hospitals! As a national leader in Family Medicine Electronic Medical Records, we can offer a technologically innovative practice structure with flexible curriculum tailored to the career you want. CentraState Medical Center offers tremendous support to our graduates regarding job placement and our location offers ample and diverse opportunities.

In addition to providing continuous care at the Freehold Family Health Center, our fellows see patients at CentraState’s Applewood Estates lifecare community, Monmouth Crossing assisted-living residence and The Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center – all of which are within a five-mile radius of the Freehold Family Health Center and CentraState’s hospital campus in Freehold. Additional rounds will be completed at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson, NJ.

To be eligible to apply for a fellowship position with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Geriatric Fellowship at CentraState Medical Center, physicians must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program and be board certified or board eligible within their area of specialty. The Fellowship Program accepts applications submitted only through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
